So I've seen a couple of drifloon hats floating (HAHA! I'm so witty, no? XD) around dA and felt it was my duty to make one myself. 83

I don't think it turned out too badly for my first attempt at a hat.... that me wearing it (GASP!) down below, just so show what it looks like on my head. I ended up completely hand stitching the cloud... what a pain that was. ^^; I put it up on my dad's mic stand to show how long the arms are; they can wrap around my neck or I can tie them if it gets windy. (So that my poor drifloon doesn't float away on me!)

So, what do you all think? Should I keep trying my hand at hats?

hehe...turned out better than mine. the arms are missing on mine now-a-days...I plan to fix it...but it keeps getting lower and lower on my list of things to do.

Well, the base of the hat is very simple to make. Clearkid made an excellent tutorial for the base, you can find it here: [link]

Other than that it was just cutting out the X, the cloud, the eyes, the arms and the hands and sewing it all together. 83
